Journalists Highlight: VIP Land. A Route for Transnational Human Trafficking Crimes

VIP land is rarely investigated in depth. VIP brokers have connections, pay individuals to close their eyes, and even officials and law enforcement officers are included in this circle, including state intelligence. The Indonesian people should question all of this.

"A similar case was uncovered at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, where a Cambodian-Indonesian syndicate recruited young women via TikTok, promising a monthly salary of IDR 20 million.

However, without reform of the VIP lane, the service remains a haven for trafficking brokers.

The public is urged to be wary of offers of "quick jobs" via social media.
