Dubai Retires the Term "Housewife," Replacing It with "Generations Shaper"

 In a major linguistic shift, Dubai's Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has directed official government entities to completely replace the term "housewife" on official records and replace it with the title "Generations Shaper". 

The directive, issued to Dubai's Community Development Authority (CDA), was timed as part of a tribute for Mother's Day. Sheikh Hamdan explained that the legacy term "housewife" merely describes a woman's physical location. In contrast, "Generations Shaper" accurately mirrors the profound impact mothers have in instilling societal values, raising children, and building the bedrock of the nation. 

The policy transition is actively being integrated across all of Dubai's digital systems, legal identification records, and community social programs 

Is "Generation Shaper" a Better Title?Whether "Generation Shaper" is a superior title depends on what elements of the role a society wishes to emphasize.
